Polar Bear

Polar Bears spend much of their life in, around, or on the water - predominantly in the form of sea ice. They rely on the sea ice to hunt and store energy for seasons where food is scarce, such as the summer and fall. However, under climate change, ice now melts earlier in the spring and forms later in the autumn, forcing the bears to live in longer periods without food.
