Adopt a Brown Tiger
The largest of all cats, the tiger (Panthera tigris) is one of the world’s most admired and charismatic species – but also one of the most threatened. Tigers are an “umbrella species” in landscape conservation because they play a very important role in maintaining a healthy ecosystem. Only about 3,200 tigers remain in the wild; most in isolated pockets spread across increasingly fragmented forests stretching from India to Russia.
Symbolic adoptions are unique and meaningful gifts for any occasions, and for friends and family of all ages. By symbolically adopting a threatened species for yourself or a friend, you can help support WWF-Hong Kong’s conservation efforts to save wildlife at risk and their habitats.
